"The School Basketball Academy" was originally created by Mike Lee after his career at the University College of the Fraser Valley where he had a storied career winning 2 gold medals in the National CCAA Championships as a player (MVP in 2002) and one as an assistant coach. He was a pioneer in the Club Program history in British Columbia,  as the School was one of the first private club programs in BC.
The early years saw the players in the program working on their skills in the off season and then going on to help their high school teams in the fall.  In Mike's last year full-time in the program, all the boys in the program went on to play in college or university teams. Mike always thought:

"...players need to develop in the off season by repetition of skill development and competing against other good players in the region."

BC Bounce began when the club began playing more games against other club programs in BC and the United States in the summer months. This year we will have boys and girls club teams from the U10-U17 age groups and opportunities for kids at all age groups to play a competitive schedule across the USA and in the Lower Mainland of BC.

BC Bounce has established a new direction by working with the City of Abbotsford and the Chilliwack Cheam Leisure Center in bringing basketball to boys and girls in Kindergarten through Grade 12.  The hope is to develop players that love the game and want to become the best they can be as they dream dreams of playing for their school teams and beyond.
